Honda Civic Named 2016 North American Car of the Year<\/h3>\n

When all votes were tallied, the 2016 Honda Civic was awarded the recognition of being the 2016 North American Car of the Year<\/a> (Volvo XC90 named Truck\/Utility of the Year). Voting for the top three models came out as such:<\/p>\n

  1. Honda Civic – <\/b>203 votes<\/i><\/li>\n
  2. Chevy Malibu – <\/b>181 votes<\/i><\/li>\n
  3. Mazda MX-5 Miata <\/b>– <\/b>146 votes<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Honda’s Civic compact sedan is capable of up to an impressive 42 mpg highway and comes equipped with a standard 158-horsepower engine or available 174-horsepower engine. Perhaps most impressive is that this isn’t the first time the Civic has been named the Car of the Year, as it also earned the recognition in 2006.<\/p>\n
